Dogleg Right. An iron shot off the tee will be the choice for many players leaving a long shot of 250 yards to the green. Only the brave and extra long hitters will tackle the 290 yard carry over the water. Second shots should be left, short of the green traps, leaving an easy pitch to the green. Green is quite andulating from back to front; the surface will be fast here.
Hole 2
Par 3 | 183 Yards
Strait forward Par 3. Tee and pin placement toughens this hole. Most players will hit for the middle of the green. Flat green with subtle breaks.
Hole 3
Par 4 | 310 Yards
A sure birdie hole or go for the green and make 2. Don't stray wider than the green side traps on this hole. Shorter hitters will lay up with an iron. Two tier green, not much room on the top level to fly a ball into.
Hole 4
Par 5 | 520 Yards
Most players will attempt to reach this green in 3. Tee shots short or missing the fairway will force the players to lay up short of the wide swail with a creek. A short iron to a very undulating green. Pin placement makes this green tough to putt.
Hole 5
Par 4 | 428 Yards
A scenic tee shot towards the mountail with ideal shot being middle to right. This position will allow an open shot for a medium to long iron to the green which slopes from front to back.
Hole 6
Par 4 | 381 Yards
Straight away driving hole. A sand trap left at 260 yards. Middle or right leaves a short iron to a slight undulating back to front green.
Hole 7
Par 4 | 442 Yards
Another scenic drive back to the mountain. Wide open driving here leaving a picturesque middle to long iron shot to a green, trap on the right. Green slopes from back to front.
Hole 8
Par 3 | 188 Yards
Wind is generally in your face here. Club selection should be on the strong side. Trouble left and right. The green has two undulating levels falling from back to front.
Hole 9
Par 4 | 370 Yards
Many players will lay up here, 200-220 yards from the tee, short of a large swail with a creek on the right and left. The green is elevated. The long hitters may hit their driver, but conservative thinking here gives the same birdie chance. Green is fast and undulates from back to front.
Hole 10
Par 5 | 522 Yards
This par 5 doglegs right. It is one of the longest and tougher holes on the course. Due to a big fairway swale with a creek and tall trees on the right, the driver will rarely be used here. Many players will hit two long irons and short third iron to a fast back to front undulating green.
Hole 11
Par 3 | 146 Yards
Although this is a short part 3, the wind causes problems with club selection. Left green pin placement makes this a good par 3. The green slopes from back to front and green edges will move the balls to the traps. Out of bounds to the left and over.
Hole 12
Par 5 | 525 Yards
A scenic driving hold back to the mountains. Long hitters will benefit here and there is lots of room for a wayward drive to the right. A chance for eagle. Many players will play on an iron second shot to be short of the green front pond. The green has three tiers, so short iron distance is a factor here. Miss the tier where the pin placement is and putting becomes difficult.
Hole 13
Par 4 | 400 Yards
Along the mountain. Out of bounds left side, a lateral ditch and 2 bunkers on the right. Long hitters have to be wary of a large rock 280 yards out. All of Tiger Wood's fan would not be able to move this rock and there is no free drop off here. Mid to short irons to an undulating back to front green. Bunkers right and left, out of bound on the left, eighteen feet from edge of green.
Hole 14
Par 3 | 184 Yards
Wind is a factor here. Traps and a pond on the left side, trap on the right. A two tier green with railroad ties at the back, which is part of a hazard. Green undulates from back to front. Top tier pin placement is a tough one.
Hole 15
Par 4 | 455 Yards
A great driving hole, lots of trouble on the right side. Flat fairway to a flat green, but this hole does present a birdie opportunity to the long straight hitter. Green is bunkered right and left. Large green.
Hole 16
Par 4 | 321 Yards
A drivable green, but wind is a factor. A creek 12 feet wide crosses the fairway at 250 yards out from the tee; most golfers will lay up here with a long iron or 3 wood. A short second icon shot to a well bunkered slightly elevated green.
Hole 17
Par 4 | 425 Yards
An inspiring tee shot from a corner tee box demands a 250 carry to the plateau. Many tee shots will finish in a big fairway swale that crosses the fairway leaving the players with up and down or side hill lies. The green is elevated and has two tiers moving from left to right, out of bounds on the left and hazard over the back.
Hole 18
Par 4 | 372 Yards
A truly fun finishing hole with tee shot coming out of a chute to a well trapped uphill fairway. Green is two tiered moving from left with a 3 foot drop to lower tier and well bunkered. Pin placement on the top-level calls for a perfect iron shot with backspin. Birdies will be expected here.
